Originally from Hungary, I moved to the States with a dream of working in fashion in the Big Apple. But life had a beautiful twist in store. I soon fell in love with capturing the raw, heartfelt emotions of families and couples through portrait photography—and in that moment, I knew I had found my true calling.
There’s something magical about freezing time in a single image—the laughter, the tenderness, the connection. My heart melts every time my clients see themselves reflected with joy and love in their portraits. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of photographing hundreds of incredible families, couples, and creatives, and every story I’ve captured has been uniquely inspiring.
That passion is what led me to create The Sandra Effect—a photography brand born from the blend of New York fashion finesse and Fairfield County heart. It’s a celebration of mothers, makers, and entrepreneurs. Of legacy, love, and the little moments that matter most.

I used Sandra’s service for my fall session and we had a great time and pictures came out beautifully. Sandra was very good with my 3 year old. Sometimes taking pictures with a toddler can be challenging, but it wasn’t our case. I would totally recommend Sandra and for sure will do more sessions with her.
